The Importance of Mercy

If God can just snap his fingers and make it all go away, if sin really doesn't matter, then God's holiness isn't very compelling. So when we slap a holy God in the face, we cause an infinite offense. What we need is a genuine human individual who is also equally divine and holy and powerful because he is God. We need the word made flesh, son of God and son of Mary. Now if you haven't seen the movie yet, you really need to see it.
