Is Christianity a Better Home for the Natural Sciences?

Christianity is in no way opposed to science or to empirical knowledge on the basis of sense perception because we were made by God with our senses and were made to be particular kind of knowing creatures. But I think the critique that you find in Bavink's book is a critique not of science but of scientism or positivism. The natural sciences can flourish far better within the context of of a Christian worldview than than it can if you separate from all of that.
