Sending Private Information to a Data Breach

A scientist was offered a job in another country with all moving expenses paid. He wanted to show off his workrights, so he started sending them examples of what he'd done at the company. But they had more questions and wanted to know more about what he was doing there. So he starts sending other research, and is now approaching the line of sending these people some of the lectual property of the company he worked for. Sending proprietary information that your company doesn't want to be public is a form of a data breach. This is classified as an insider threat, actively exphiltrating private information.
