Is there an issue of animal cruelty here? Obviously not everyone agrees with efforts to eradicate invasive species. The animals that are trapped through the Provincial Control Program are humanely euthanized and they're euthanized as humanely as possible. It's also an inspected meat and pigs can host all kinds of diseases.
