The Influence of the French Annales School on My Life

The French Annalee School was a school of historiography founded in the 20th century. They tried to link disciplines, they were very interested in geography and shaping human history. And particularly Fénon-Prodel, who I love his work, pushed towards larger scales. So there's something to be learned about human history if you look on the scale of 13.8 billion years - how strange is the complexity of our world.
