Wells and Orwell - The World Brain

The world brain is a collection of about five speeches that he gave, as well as a couple of kindo op head pieces following those speeches. And so i would say it inspired people, especially once we started moving towards electronic computers and transistor base computers. That then manifested in terms of the web, and nupedi and wihipedia and at least half a dozen to a dozen other encyclopaedic projects - but nothing very practical ever came of this.
