Is the Church Pointing to the Moon?

In preparing for this, i was going over one of our favourite books, to holy envy by barbara brown taylor. She takes her students on these field trips in a van and they go to all these different places of worship,. And she kind of does these little field trips with her students to kind of teach them about world religions. Sometimes when i am eavesdropping on students in the college van, i am sobered by the questions they ask each other to determine how christian they are. Do you believe in the virgin birth and the physical resurrection? Do you believe jesus is the only way to god? I wish the institute had spent as much time on the fundamentals of christ
