Workers in a factory were asked to increase their daily output. The group then voted on whether they should set it at 90 units per hour. Over a five month period, the performance of this experimental group compared with the other groups in the factory went from 75 units per hour up to 90. Drew: You don't get very far by telling your workers what to do without listening to them in return.
