More than 500 submissions made to the Electoral Commission suggesting a cap on number of politicians. Adrian O'Brien: There is a bigger picture about the disastrous state of our local government. The first step is early next week when the final census results are due to be published, that gets drilled down into the nitty gritty of the detail. Then the commission is three months to do its review, which isn't a great deal of time and fairness. It's going to be an absolute field day for the likes of me and for anyone who's interested in how this is going to play out.
