When Janae first came out she wasn't the fair skinned, skinny black girl that many young women her age were. Her music didn't really change when she lost weight but it was like something happened and people thought they should try this as a commercially acceptable idea or maybe the music. "I think people want to see me with my ass out and like being pre-feminine," says Janae.
