The Negative Side of Millennial Concern

The emphasis you see on personal branding, things like this, gets projected onto the teacher in ways that can be both helpful and unhelpful. I think it's a positive side but then be that students are then demanding of us as teachers that we are not hypocrites. That's a positive way. And I think they have serious demands that they place on themselves. It's deeply important to them that the conduct of the teacher reflect the subject material. Authority for the students I teach is linked up with character.
