Strong legalism contrasts with conceptions of legality that view these only as elements of a functioning legal system rather than its whole. There's something a bit more complicated about interpretation of code and what exactly that means in a way that we have already established for law. The specter here is people out there in the world saying, let's computerize law. Let's take law and in shrine it within code for whatever motivations they might have to do that. And this paper is going to say that's a dangerous idea.
