Goldman Sachs held its first investor day in 50 years yesterday. The firm is trying to diversify into more fee-based and recurring businesses, says COO John MacIntosh. It also wants to make it easier for people to work with the firm's various divisional offices. "No one cares how we're organized," said MacIntosh of goldman sacks' main client groups.
