Is There a Prefix?
Lohodo has a non-cattinative morphology. This is not the same as sound symbolism patterns you might get in ideophones. It could have started off once where that was the case and then somebody ran with the idea. I'd have to look at sort of, do you have a link for this? That would be interesting to see more examples.
