How Did Prague Become Important in the Middle Ages?
In 973, Prague gets its own bishopric. Saint Ventuslas is the first who kind of promotes Christianity within the kingdom. It's then brought underneath the arches of the Holy Roman Empire. Czechs weren't particularly happy about this, but it brings it into a trading conglomeration with a lot of the German lands.
