Is There a Monarchy?

In the US we've had some form of representative democracy since declaring independence. We have democratic councils and elected legislatures making most of the decisions locally. Representative democracy is not the cause of or at the root of our problems, many of which have come up more recently. I'll show you why a monarchy will introduce many problems on its own, would likely be as bad or worse than the ones we're facing today.
