Is Apple Branding the Notch?

I've heard that this is part of it is that they never gave the notch a name. And people just called it the notch. Didn't they call it something though like the sensor array or something? They need like whatever they branded the display right whatever they call it. I think they 100% had to give it a name because it's more than just a hardware cut outlike it's a thing that developers need to refer to you know like it they had to brand it.
