The Importance of Quality in Quotes

The Ant-Man plot would essentially involve writing a completely different story which had only a vague relationship to MCU. My cynical null hypothesis is that we call competently executed things tasteful or high quality if they require a lot of erudition to understand, and make good class markers. But emotionally I'm not ready to accept this. Maybe a better way of summarizing my position is that nerds like things in a way that's orthogonal to quality. Let's take an example of something that's both very popular and widely agreed to be good. Say, the poetry in plays of Shakespeare. If you wanted to identify yourself as someone who likes Shakespeare, there are actually two ways of
