What Is the Human Person?
Aquinas is not doing psychology with his Bible in one hand and rosary beads in the other. He, like all of us, believes that we can know something about reality that we have access to. When you walk in a room, I can hear you. I can see you. Humans are less than pleasant. We don't want those if they smell pleasant. That's wonderful. The senses, the physicality of the human person presents with to the knowing person, to the philosopher, to the psychologist, an object that we can knows. So human persons have a sensible aspect to them, their body, which reflects manifests,. which states in, is united to what is not
