Land Acknowledgements
I think since I've been in higher education over the last 115 plus years, I've noticed more and more land acknowledgments at conferences. So there's indigenous protocols that recognize a place but when you do those types of protocols, it also requires responsibility. It's about building relationalities with the local kind of thinking about ways in which we can assist, support or do better.
