Is Delay a Reverb?

delay can be used to get that sense of space and almost less clostrophobia, because you have more time. And a that'sbasely what i've done in this song. I know it sounds like there's a huge amount of reverb on the vocal, but really it's a massive delay. So i've got a compressor after the delay that tpasally ducks it while the vocal is singing. It's subtle, but you can hear how the delay gets a lot louder when the vocal is stopped actually singing it. That kind of really made them like, blossom even after the fact, like they really just keep resonating.
