The hero King Lear we kind of find him relatively abhorrent in the first two acts but many productions do the character of disservice by painting him as a fool. He was the undoing of himself Maybe he did deserve it by virtue of his actions, but he also didn't fully deserve it and I pity him I feel sorry for him and I sympathize with
