The Contribution of Cubans to the Spanish Civil War
In the post-Civil War period, in terms of researching this topic, was the contribution of Cubans well-known outside of Cuba? Did people understand that, hey, they have done these things for Spain? Was it a well-publicized story, I guess I would say. The memory was actually kept alive through the Franco years. There was definitely a celebration of them in Spain.
