The Fatherly Blessing of Isaac

Blessing is a name for what caleb was doing with me over lunch that day. When he had led them out to the vicinity of bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them. What exactly is jesus doing while he is lifting up his hands? And why did it fill the disc es with joy? Because before blessing, i mean, these are our disciples hiding out in an upper room,. They're not thinking about starting a revolution. But now human fear has ballooned in their imaginations and been placed instead by joy. We've got to understand with and wrestle with this ancient concept of blessing.
