How Did the Fascination With Personal Computers Start?
The first computer, eniac in 19 forty six, was designed primarily for weather and ballistic calculations. The next revolution in compute was in the 19 sixties with the invention of what's called time sharing. What we think the personal computer industry is about is the invention of the fractional horse power computer that can be cost justified on the personal level. And it's really anging the way that people interact with computers. There is a one on one relationship that develops between one person and one computer.
