Early Agriculture in the Fertile Crescentent

There was no guarantee subsistence method would ever be suitable for any place that wasn't the fertile crescent. The site of Mirgar, near the Indus River in what's now Pakistan, was first occupied roughly 9,000 years ago. Soon after, farmers or the farming way of life made their way further south than east into central Asia and present-day India.
