The Importance of Fluids in Pediatric Patients
A lot of these kids look like, most likely they're probably pre renal and we want to give them fluids. Can you sort of describe exactly what giving fluids means? Are we bolusing? Are we doing maintenance fluids? What types of fluids are we using? And then how often am I checking on their crayon and to see if they're responding to the fluids? Those are all great questions. We could do a whole episode just talking about fluid choices in pediatric patients.
