John the Baptist

Luke tells us that this is john the baptist. This is what his job was, the preaching of repentance ministry. We know from turning the page, there he is. And we can therefore look back at malakhi, and we have to read that in a different way because it's been fulfilled. It would be nice if luke was the first gospel, so that we could just turn the page and we would immediately see that verse alluded to by luke. But i'm sure there are good reasons for having matthew next over the page.
