The Kitchen of the Chefs
The chefs had to cook with no modern conveniences, no firm amixes and just straight up elbow grease and fire. "It was the best fire cooking kitchen I've ever seen," says James Beard. The show's producers spent a lot of time planning out the kitchen that we built out so the chefs could cook. It gave them the energy they needed to get through a four hour cook because they were all exhausted.
