Some people do obsidian users who are into Zetlkast and they create a folder full of Markdown files so that when they're on their Mac, they can use obsidian. But this folder, they store it in Dropbox so that an iPad where obsidian doesn't have a native app. The first text editor I used when I first started writing at Macs first was Ulysses.
