No mass was about understanding risk factors for stroke and outcomes after stroke, really observing what happens with stroke naturally. But the Florida stroke registry is a shift to a more interventional stance. How can we improve care? Not just how things are, but how can we make them better? And I think in many ways, that's how Ralph stood out also. He didn't want to just observe things in the wild. When he saw a problem, like increased stroke risk in certain communities, particularly disparities among Hispanics in this case, he wanted to fix it.
