"I would be under a tree and I looked down the road and there'd be 15 of them," she says. "And then I think, Oh my gosh, how many hours in the day we have 15 more trees?" She adds that her mother always tipped 20% at farmers' markets when they were 10 to 15%. 'It wasn't because she was trying to show off, she just felt comfortable.'
