Bavaskar - What's the Process for Maintaining the Pabaskar Library?

You're also co-maintainer of the Pabaskar library. How did you get access to being a maintainer? And what's the process normally for that? I am not quite sure what goes on and what do the main, but then I guess the way I see it from my side is me being a person who is able to take in parts of the Wavaskar's code base which is less elegant.
