Sequencer Slash Drum Machine - A Box of Weird Mechanisms and Vacuum Tubes

It's amazing to think how much things have changed from when this was built. The sequencer slash drum machine part itself works with a spinning arm that has a bunch of contacts on it. And then what's really cool about this, and this is where the tubes come in, is how the sounds are all made. I guess they're synthesized, but using tubes to make the synthesized voices. But these kind of tuned filters rung to make drum noises are absolutely lovely. It's really fun to see the, like, super early precursor tube version of the same thing.
