The Abomination of Desolation
This isn't Jesus coming at the end of history. In some sort of cosmic flash. This is a local judgment. Once you understand this, everything starts to open up to you how many passages you will find in the New Testament that reflect not the end of the world or a period of time before or after something called the rapture. But you're waiting up to and including the destruction of Jerusalem that took place in 8070 which is a historical fact that no one disputes. And so that's what verse 34 is all about.
