The Neoconservatism of the Sixties and Seventies

The original neocons were anti communist liberals, but they really did oppose the soviet union. They started making alliances with some of the conservatives who had been around for decades before and thought of themselves as conservatives. Not until much later that it becomes associated with foreign policy, and specifically the warriro em people like to call someone a neo conservative.
