The long head of the triceps is a biorectic muscle. It's also active at the shoulder. And so if you bring the arm overhead, the elbow overhead, then you're stretching the long head. A new study in need found that the long head experience is scratch-proof. But I think most people don't optimize that part of training. They do for the push downs and other exercises that are more traditional.
