Subscription traps are essentially where a firm might offer you a free trial or a reduced price for a number of months, and then they hit you with what can sometimes be over priced charges. The problem is down to the terms and conditions not being clear or prominently displayed, and key information often being hidden. And if you feel that you have been scammed or not given the right information when setting up a continuous payment authority, then the payments that may be taken could be considered unauthorized.
