The Self-Evident Goodness of Moral Values
There's a great degree of overlap and agreement between otherwise very diverse and disparate religious and philosophical traditions. This testifies, he suggests, to the fact that moral value is indeed objective and self-evident. But just because it's self-ev obvious, we can't find any deeper ground for these moral values - which is why children need to be trained in the way of being moral in the now.
