How Did That Knock Get Messed Up?

Researchers analyzed the shape and structure of all the different prints compare it with other dinosaur tracks. They were able to determine that even though the right and left are slightly different shapes, they do appear to have belonged to one animal. This dinosaur had an unusually wide stride. Its feet were wider apart as it was walking than we normally expect from dinosaurs like this. And indeed, some of the tracks lead the authors to suspect the toe might have been backwards, that it was crooked or curved, incorrectly because it was either broken or deformed. It left wrong footprints.
