Are We All Dicks?

The idea of us being part of a bigger story is something that i think we've lost a lot of touch with. Sometimes society is set up to encourage us to be dicks, he says. And his feeling is that we have become more selfish. He wonders if the fact that we produce so many tories of am heroes, andnot not super heroes, but a lot of stories are about,. you know, some ordinary person and they become e, the celebrated, it's like a you can be this person kind of story.
