The Bubble in House Prices

We had another big run up in house prices between 2012 and mid-2017. Not as zany as the first one, but definitely did seem bubble like. The correction seems to have evaporated over the last six months. Is that a good thing? No, it probably would have been better to have had a bigger correction. In the short run, they would have hurt a bit. Probably a lot. But in the very long run, it would probably have been beneficial.
