i was always amazed at the way we would study great works of literature. Different people from different backgrounds can see different things in them. The real world is really complicated and diverse and multi faceted. When you take a very simplistic view, you might reach one audience and not another. Great works of literature tend to people find something in them. And so maybe that's why, i don't know.
