The Climate Emergency, Something Bad's Going to Happen

Even if shell hadnaw or exon had not hidden the data it had on the role that its products were playing and in climate change in the seventies, it would have been hard to muster a sense of urgency. But here we are, 50 years on, something bad is really happening, and a lot of people are caring about it. They still don't seem to care about it enough, or maybe they've slid into nihilism. And one of the things that will hasten that moment is restoring a competition to those industries.
