We often think that there are these two performance states. You're either choking or you're in flow or everything's clicking. But like Steve said, we can also be clutch where it does require deliberate focus and effortful thinking. We want to jolt our nervous system out of this dysfunctional, perceptive state to something better. How can we do that? We can exaggerate errors. We can do something crazy.
