Peter Kafka: The big things are getting bigger. They're slowly absorbing the smaller things. In this case, you've got discovery. Which was one of the smaller players in media has absorbed the thing that used to be called Time Warner. And the entire new company is called Warner Brothers Discovery. It's today explained.

HBO hopes to win the streaming wars with House of the Dragon, a prequel to Game of Thrones. But GoT’s disastrous finale disappointed viewers, and the prequel is being released as HBO’s parent company, Warner Brothers Discovery, undertakes massive cost-cutting measures. Still: DRAGONS.
