Is There a Meta-Conspiracy?
There seems to be like an organising meta conspiracy that's out there. The idea of the Illuminati running the world is really old. It overlaps with centuries old anti-Semitic tropes, millenereal cults and new world orders. And then when you have this kind of slightly impenetrable, consciously elite looking groups like the World Economic Forum, launching initiatives in the middle of a pandemic,. You know, it's not great branding, the conspiracy world, but it gives a brand for the conspiracies to keep the thing moving online. There is that almost conceptual link where you can kind of trip a sign up and move across into it.
