The overtone project had a completely different tack, which was to try and build a very sophisticated, powerful system. So that wasbut codin and music has been something that's been explored since computers were created. Thethere's other systems like fox dot, which is a python like environment. Tat has an interesting patern language, which is satlly, based of a system called tidal cycles by alex mc lean. It's a fabulous system for which has a very terse syntax. And so with a few interesting characters, you can make readly sophisticated patterns to drive both a super clide, but also middy devices as well.
