Sally Kohn: I was thinking about this book called Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman. He divides the brain into two systems, which he calls predictably system one and system two. She says when we're painting those two systems see to be like crossing over one another constantly. So for instance, she said, "I'm going to go out and cross the entire skyline of Kansas City" Skelton: Between 40 and 50 degrees is not a painting under anything but your hand just after you start walking around.
