Is the FTC Guidance for Social Media Influencers Really a Good Idea?

I see flagrant rule breaking as per the FTC guidelines on many physician accounts. I've definitely had some falling out with physicians online, where an I go and ask, Where's your disclosure? So it seems like risking your medical license sponsorship not worth it. Are the repercussions just not there? Or the doctor accounts just acting in ignorance?
